Recently, Raymond F. Book, III of the Greater Dover Advisory Board presented a $2,300 grant to Wesley College - Hope Closet on behalf of the Greater
Dover Foundation. Wesley College. Hope Closet's objective is to provide
needed items that enables people who have been marginalized by the current economic situation to use limited financial resources for other necessities.
Mark Pruett-Barnett, Chaplain Wesley College; Missy Rekitzke, Hope Church Pastor; Margie Pruett, Hope Church Member; Dana Sharpe, Hope Church Member; Eric Voshell, Hope Church Member; Jarrhin Thomas, Wesley College Student Hope Closet volunteer; Elise Knable, Wesley College Student, Hope Closet volunteer; and Chris Wood, Wesley College V.P. for Institutional Development; accepted the grant on behalf of Wesley College - Hope Closet.

The Greater Dover Foundation is a non-profit, philanthropic endeavor created in 1992 by the Greater Dover Committee to assist in identifying emerging community issues and opportunities and to provide a lasting source of charitable funding to support the efforts of non-profit organizations and public institutions in the greater Dover area. The Delaware Community Foundation administers the Greater Dover Foundation. The Greater Dover Foundation current project is the creation of the Greater Dover Foundation Community Building. Our mission is to bring together multiple non-profit organizations under one roof while providing the financial benefit of below-market lease rates for these groups.
