Greater Dover Foundation Awards a $2,383 Grant to Modern Maturity Center, Inc.

On June 23, Raymond F. Book, III of the Greater Dover Advisory Board presented a $2,383 grant to Modern Maturity Center, Inc on behalf of the
Greater Dover Foundation. Modern Maturity Center, Inc. grant will be used
to fill the shortfall created by state funding cuts and low donations to ensure that those seniors who need it most can continue to receive a hot, nutritious meal through their Meals on Wheels program.

The Greater Dover Foundation is a non-profit, philanthropic endeavor created in 1992 by the Greater Dover Committee to assist in identifying emerging community issues and opportunities and to provide a lasting source of charitable funding to support the efforts of non-profit organizations and public institutions in the greater Dover area. The Delaware Community Foundation administers the Greater Dover Foundation. The Greater Dover Foundation's current project is the creation of the Greater Dover Foundation Community Building. Our mission is to bring together multiple non-profit organizations under one roof while providing the financial benefit of below-market lease rates for these groups.
